Tune automatic carryover
Control how unfinished tasks move forward after your chosen carryover time.
Before you start
- Open Settings.
- Decide whether unfinished tasks should move automatically and how aggressively priorities should upgrade.
Steps
- Enable automatic carryover in Settings.
- Choose the move time, such as 11:00 PM.
- Set how many days A, B, and C tasks should move forward.
- Choose whether repeated carryover upgrades stale C tasks to B and B tasks to A.
- Use tag weekday or weekend rules and Calendar Rules away periods to keep destinations realistic.
If a task lands later than expected, check its tag schedule and any active away periods.
