Privacy Choices

Manage your myDailyTasks privacy choices

Updated September 4, 2026

Delete App Content

Delete All Data removes tasks, rituals, goals, related planner content, pending myBPhealth medication handoffs, and local Blood Pressure Check links and tokens. If iCloud sync is enabled, planner deletions sync through your iCloud account to other devices signed in with the same Apple Account. App Store purchases and records already read or accepted by myBPhealth are managed separately.

iCloud Sync

Manage iCloud for myDailyTasks in your device settings. If iCloud is unavailable when the app opens, your plan can remain available on that device.

Notifications

The iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps register with Apple's remote-notification service at ordinary launch for CloudKit change delivery, even while the optional My Budget Canvas bridge remains off. myDailyTasks does not operate a push server or retain a device push token. Daily summary reminders, task-time reminders, and important-date reminders remain optional; change them in the app or Apple system settings.

Location And Weather

The Daily Planning weather preview is optional and enabling it does not prompt. Current Location requests access only after you select it; authorised coordinates may also go to Apple MapKit/geocoding to resolve the displayed area name before Apple WeatherKit retrieves the forecast. City or Area sends the place name you enter to Apple MapKit/geocoding to resolve the forecast area and never requests device location. After denial, use Open Settings or switch to City or Area; you can also turn Weather off at any time.

Apple Intelligence

Apple Intelligence planning is optional and available only on supported devices. It processes goal fields, scheduled dates, and sequence positions on device, does not send them to the developer, and shows every proposed task for review before saving. Turn the option off or use the standard planner at any time.

Saved Task Links

Saved task links open only after you select them. Opening one asks the system to contact the destination you chose, which handles that request under its own privacy terms. Edit or delete the task to change or remove the saved URL.

Imports And My Budget Canvas

CSV and JSON imports are user-selected, read locally, and previewed before confirmation. The My Budget Canvas private CloudKit bridge is separately off by default. You can disable it and clear staged bridge records in Services settings; imported tasks and source records in your private iCloud database are managed separately.

Apple Health Medications

Use Import from Apple Health in medication settings to review the system authorization sheet and select tracked medications. Remove an imported preset in myDailyTasks to stop using it in future rituals. Manage the original tracked medication and Health access in Apple Health.

myBPhealth Connections

Medication transfer is used only for rituals you configure for myBPhealth. Remove that configuration to stop future transfers. Blood Pressure Check linking can be removed separately. Delete All Data clears the pending medication handoff file and local Blood Pressure Check links and one-time tokens, but it does not delete records already read or accepted by myBPhealth; those records cannot be retracted.

Spotlight, Shortcuts, Widgets, Live Activities, And Focus

Search, shortcuts, widgets, Live Activities, and Focus can show task information outside the main app. Manage what appears through myDailyTasks and your device settings.

App Lock

App Lock can be disabled in app settings. Biometric verification is handled by Apple on the device and is not available to myDailyTasks.

On-Device Insights

Weekly Review and Premium 12-week insights use the task and completion history already stored by the app. The feature does not add developer telemetry or third-party tracking. Deleting the underlying planner content removes it from future insight calculations, subject to iCloud deletion sync when enabled.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account. Use Apple system settings or the App Store subscription management flow to cancel, renew, or review subscription status.

Backup And Diagnostic Exports

Exporting is optional. The app opens Apple's system file exporter so you choose whether and where to save the file. Review the privacy terms of the destination you select, especially before saving sensitive task content.

Newsletter And Release Updates

A newsletter request opens in your email app and is not sent automatically. Close the draft if you do not want to share your address. If you subscribe, you can unsubscribe by replying to an update or emailing support@mydailytasks.app. Cyber AI Insights Pty Ltd will action the request within five working days.

Access, Correction, And Complaints

To access or correct personal information held through support or newsletter records, email support@mydailytasks.app with the subject “Privacy Request”. To make a complaint, use the subject “Privacy Complaint” and describe the concern. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Website And Overseas Processing

Cloudflare processes website request and security information to deliver and protect this site. Apple processes information for the Apple services you choose to use. These global providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States and, for Cloudflare, the European Economic Area. Review the full Privacy Policy for details.

Support Requests

When contacting support, include only the details needed to diagnose the issue, such as device type, OS version, app version, and a short description. Avoid sending sensitive task content unless it is necessary for the support request.
