How-To
Review your week
Use Weekly Review to understand completion, balance, streaks, carryover, and open work.
Before you start
- On iPhone, open More → Weekly Review. On iPad or Mac, select Weekly Review in the sidebar.
Steps
- Confirm the selected week, then check completion charts, open work and weekly win counts. These are planner-history summaries, not a measure of every activity you did outside the app.
- Review tag balance to see where the week went.
- Use carryover and open-task summaries to decide what to move, complete, or drop.
- Return to the planner with the next day or week clarified.
Compare longer-term trends
With Premium, compare the 12-week trend, the recent and previous four-week periods, and the weekdays and tags with the most completions.
Use All Completed to inspect retained completed and missed entries when a chart needs context. Review the completed-task retention setting before expecting older records.
Understand completion feedback
Read completion feedback and weekly win or streak cards alongside the actual task history. They describe recorded planner activity, not hours worked or a separate health measure.
For less movement, enable Reduce Motion in system accessibility settings. Completion feedback remains visible while its motion is reduced.
Confirm the setup is working
- The selected-week figures match retained occurrences in that period, with completed, open and incomplete Ritual work distinguished.
- Premium trends compare retained history; deleted records cannot contribute.
If expected work is missing, confirm the task is in the selected week and has not been deleted or moved to another date.
