How-To
Review goal progress and reading plans
Review an existing goal, its scheduled work and the outcome you are working towards.
Before you start
- An accepted goal in 90Day Planner on iPhone, iPad or Mac. Use Create a Goal if you have not saved a plan yet.
Review an existing goal
- Open 90Day on iPhone, or 90Day Planner on iPad or Mac, and select the existing goal.
- Check its chosen measurement and progress alongside the linked tasks in Today and Daily Planning. Completing a session and reaching a quantity target are different facts.
- Review the upcoming task dates and durations. Adjust the daily work to what you can manage, then return to the goal to check progress.
Review a reading plan
Check the saved title, author, edition and total pages against the book you are using. Look Up Book uses Open Library; its result may describe a different edition.
Review reading days, session lengths and page ranges before relying on the plan. If a book lookup is unavailable, enter the details manually when setting up the goal.
Review a new proposal
When you choose to generate or revise a proposal, check phases, milestones, task titles and session lengths before accepting. The standard planner remains available without Apple Intelligence.
Recover from a planning error
If creating, saving or generating fails, use Report to Developer where offered. Review and edit the report before choosing Copy, Share or an email draft. Nothing sends automatically; cancelling the report preserves your goal draft.
Confirm the setup is working
- The goal and its linked tasks reflect the work you reviewed, without creating a duplicate goal.
- You have compared task completion with the goal's chosen measurement.
If book lookup is unavailable or the edition is wrong, enter the details manually. Avoid repeatedly accepting plans to fix a task: open the existing goal and its work first. Review the selected schedule and constraints before retrying generation.
