Set up Watch controls, Action button and Double Tap

Steps

1. Add Control Center controlsPress the Watch side button, scroll to Edit, then use the plus button to open the controls gallery. Add myDailyTasks Capture Task, Focus Session or Task Timer where offered. Close the gallery and finish editing.
2. Try each destinationTap a saved control and check that the expected screen opens. Capture Task asks for text; Focus Session and Task Timer let you review a task before starting. Opening a screen does not itself complete work.
3. Use ShortcutsOpen Shortcuts on Apple Watch and look for the published Capture Task, Focus Session and Task Timer shortcuts. Run the intended shortcut to check its destination. For a custom shortcut made on iPhone, use only actions offered there and enable Show on Apple Watch before testing it on the Watch.
4. Assign the Ultra Action buttonOpen Watch Settings → Action Button and choose an offered myDailyTasks control. Alternatively select Shortcut and choose the Watch-enabled shortcut you tested. Follow the app and action choices shown for your watchOS version, then press the Action button to verify the destination.
5. Enable Double TapOn a supported Watch, open Settings → Gestures → Double Tap and turn it on. With Focus Session visible, the primary action is Start, Pause or Resume. In Task Timer it is Start Timer, or Stop Timer when exactly one session is running. Bring the screen into view before performing the gesture.
6. Keep a touch alternativeUse the visible button whenever a gesture is unavailable. Double Tap does not confirm every dialog, choose a task or operate all app controls. System accessibility gesture modes and device settings can affect its availability.
