How-To

Customize settings

Set up myDailyTasks defaults so capture, planning, review, and privacy controls match the way you work.

Before you start

  • Open Settings in myDailyTasks.
  • Create any tags you want to reuse before choosing a default tag.

Steps

  1. Choose the background style and starting screen you want the app to open into.
  2. Set visible task filtering, task sort order, and how long completed tasks stay in the live planner.
  3. Choose the default priority and default tag for new tasks.
  4. Manage configured tags, including tag color and whether each tag belongs to weekdays, weekends, or anytime.
  5. Set the Daily Planning timeline range and the Work Day start and end used by autofill.
  6. Review reminders, carryover, Calendar Rules, App Lock, iCloud, and Premium controls from their settings sections.
  7. Open Services > About & Support when you need the installed version and build number for support.

If a setting appears to have no effect, confirm the active screen uses that setting; for example, Work Day hours affect Daily Planning autofill and tag day-period rules affect carryover destinations.
